The Fort Dix Federal Credit Union was first organized May 1, 1963 under the leadership of SGM. Max Martin and CW4 Clarence Lines. At the onset there were 12 members in a subscriber group and the maximum loan was set at $150.00. Within the first 8 months the membership swelled to more than 700 members. The credit union became a full scale operation with its own facilities in January 1967. The first time manager was hired in 1970. Throughout the early years all positions were part time and only tellers were paid a salary. Over the years we have moved to various locations, seen the implementation of many new products, and experienced many mission changes within the Fort Dix Community. In October of 2004 we moved from the corner of 8th & Alabama Streets to our present location at Building 5408 on Delaware Avenue. The old building at 8th & Alabama Street was demolished as you can see in the pictures in our photo gallery. Our current manager has over 40 years of financial experience. The credit union is guided by a board of Directors that oversee all activities.
